Prices have been announced for the new Farizon SV, which starts at £45,000 – a few quid more than the cheapeat version of the big selling Ford Transit. 

Crucially, the Farizon will include as standard a high level of specification and a large number of features that are additional cost options on competitors’ vans.

It is offered in five different size combinations - L1 H1, L1 H2, L2 H2, L2 H3 and L3 H3, with the largest version costing £56,000. All variants will have a standard four-year / 120,000-mile warranty and will be distributed by a traditional dealer network, backed up by mobile servicing technicians. 

The Farizon SV line-up includes the option of a 67 kWh or an 83 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, with a 106 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery available for the L3 H3 model. All feature advanced cell-to-pack technology, reducing weight while increasing battery capacity and body rigidity. 

One powertrain will be available, producing 170 kW (231 PS) of power and 336 Nm of torque.

Standard equipment includes a 360° Surround View camera, heated and ventilated seats for driver and passenger, and a heated windscreen. 

Also fitted as standard is a payload monitoring system, which uses ride-height sensors used to calibrate the vehicle’s weight. An accurate payload read-out on the LCD driver’s display helps drivers and fleet operators ensure that they are meeting gross vehicle weight regulations. Overweight loads are alerted to the driver.

Any paint except the white costs an extra £550 + VAT, while a 3.3kW Vehicle-to-load 220V outlet is £500.
