Skoda has completed its Enyaq family with the introduction of the new vRS and Coupé vRS models – topping the range with sharper styling, more power and improved dynamics. These new flagship versions also become the fastest accelerating Škoda models ever built, reaching 62mph in just 5.4 seconds thanks to dual-motor electric drive producing 340PS and 505Nm of torque.

Priced from £51,660, both vRS variants are set to open for orders in mid-June. They join the forthcoming Elroq vRS in Škoda’s performance EV line-up, underlining the brand’s commitment to electrified performance.

Under the skin, the cars are powered by an 84kWh battery (79kWh usable), supporting charging speeds of up to 185kW. That means a 10 to 80 per cent top-up can be completed in just 26 minutes using a compatible rapid charger. AC charging is supported up to 11kW, taking around 8.5 hours for a full charge at home. WLTP range stands at over 340 miles, depending on model and specification.

To match the straight-line pace, Škoda has introduced a sport chassis with lower ride height – 15mm lower at the front and 10mm at the rear – alongside a retuned version of the DCC adaptive damping system. Progressive steering and standard-fit sports tyres aim to deliver more driver engagement, while larger front brakes with two-piston calipers ensure stopping power is up to the job.

On the outside, the vRS and Coupé vRS adopt Škoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design cues. This includes the illuminated Tech-Deck Face, a gloss black grille surround, and new vertical light bars. The LED Matrix headlights also feature a bespoke animation on start-up and shut-down. Visual updates continue with unique vRS bumpers, 20-inch Draconis black alloys as standard, and optional 21-inch Vision wheels in anthracite. Black trim on the wing mirrors, window surrounds, roof rails and badging helps set the performance models apart, while a new Hyper Green paint option is exclusive to the vRS range.

Inside, buyers can choose from two Design Selections: vRS Suite or vRS Lounge. Both include heated sports seats with integrated headrests, massaging and memory functions, stainless steel pedals, and contrast stitching. The vRS Suite uses leather-effect upholstery with grey stitching, while the Lounge adds black microsuede with lime green accents.

Tech levels are strong, with a 13-inch central infotainment display, 5-inch digital driver’s display, augmented reality head-up display and 12-speaker CANTON sound system all fitted as standard. The infotainment system includes a dedicated “Heaters” button, streamlining control of up to four heating elements at once.
